Gettysburg Gateway Micro-Farm

The Gettysburg Gateway Micro-Farm is located on the grounds of the new men's Gateway shelter at 1921 S. Gettysburg Ave.  Gettysburg Gateway Micro-Farm will:

  • generate transitional employment with paying jobs, productive skills, meaningful activity and self-esteem for the growing number of homeless adults currently residing in our community's Gateway emergency shelter system
  • produce permanent community-based employment opportunities post-shelter through relationships with local farmers
  • yield fresh, healthy, affordable locally grown produce to the local neighborhood and larger community where such products are in short supply
