Furniture & Household Set Up Assistance

For shelter clients moving into housing, TOP case managers can assist in obtaining furniture and household items. These items are obtained through donations, purchase, or voucher system from area agencies or businesses.

Case Management

Once housed, individuals may meet with follow-up case managers on a regular basis in order to have assistance in maintaining stable housing. Case managers may make home-based visits with a focus on preventing future episodes of homelessness.  Case managers focus on areas such as basic living skills, parenting issues, budgeting, advocacy with other area agencies, physical health care, substance abuse and mental health counseling, transportation assistance and general housekeeping.
