Each program of The Other Place focuses on a specific point within the spectrum of homelessness: before, during or after. The Other Place works to ensure that people who are moving on from homelessness experience a positive transition, thus assisting in the prevention of repeated episodes of homelessness. Providing a Start-Up Kit makes a direct impact on the success a fellow community member may have as he/she moves into permanent housing.
