Holiday Backpack Project

The Other Place and St. Vincent de Paul teamed up again for the 2009 Holiday Backpack Project.  Our goal was to receive 300 filled backpacks to give to everyone staying at our gateway shelters throughout the holidays, and, with the help of dedicated community members, not only did we meet that goal, we also exceeded it by over 100 extra backpacks!  These extra backpacks will be given out to our clients throughout the year.

Thank you to all the individuals, businesses, and groups who collected backpacks for this project!
